Giulia, the reigning Women’s United States Champion, has made a significant announcement ahead of WWE Evolution this Sunday. While she will not be defending her title at this premium live event, she is set to participate in the highly anticipated Battle Royal.
During Tuesday’s episode of NXT, it was confirmed that Giulia will join fellow competitors from RAW, SmackDown, and the developmental brand in the Battle Royal. A victory in this match would earn her a shot at the world title at the upcoming Clash in Paris, adding an exciting layer to her participation.
In addition to her in-ring involvement, Giulia will be making an appearance at The Evolution Store in Atlanta on Saturday. This event will take place at The Center on Marietta Street, where fans can meet the Beautiful Madness and take photos with the Women’s U.S. Champion. Giulia is part of Group Two and will start her signing session at 11:40 a.m. local time.
The Evolution Store will also host other prominent WWE stars, including Charlotte Flair, IYO SKY, Jade Cargill, Lyra Valkyria, Nikki Bella, Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Tiffany Stratton. However, photo opportunities with Rhea Ripley have already sold out, highlighting the popularity of these appearances.
It’s noteworthy that the Women’s United States Championship has once again been overlooked for a major premium live event. Giulia’s absence from the Evolution card is particularly striking, as this marks the second-ever all-women’s PLE in WWE history. Previously, Chelsea Green, the former Women’s U.S. Champion, was also excluded from the WrestleMania 41 card, raising questions about the championship’s visibility.
In contrast, the Women’s Intercontinental Championship will be defended in a thrilling Triple Threat match, with Becky Lynch set to defend her title against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. Additionally, the only other women’s title not scheduled for defense at Evolution is the NXT Women’s North American Championship. However, Sol Ruca is still on the card, teaming up with Zaria to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, currently held by Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez. This match will feature a Fatal Four-Way Tag Team format, also including Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair, along with The Kabuki Warriors.
